Delete scehduled report reocrds in MSCRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We are setting up some scheduled report for the customer in MSCRM 2011 and we found that whenever the schedule report is generated, there is a records created in the Report listing.

We tried to delete it from the report listing and Report manager in reporting services, but no luck.

Anyone know how to remove it from the report listing? As long run, the report listing will be mess up.

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Teh

  • Hi,

Are you receiving error on deleting the scheduled report? also make sure that your user (from which you are deleting reports) must have Reporting Services reports folder deletion privileges.

  • Hi,

Yes, when delete from MSCRM from the report listing. If I delete from Report Managers in SSRS, will MSCRM still show that report?

  • Hi,

If you will delete the report from the SSRS then MSCRM record for the that scheduled report would still exist in the database and would show in the reports list. The report should be deleted from the MSCRM, what error are you receiving on deleting SSRS report from MSCRM? you can track error details by enabling tracing into CRM server (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907490)

Also make sure that the MSCRM schedule report snapshot report owner is the user ( from which you are trying to delete)

  • Teh,

Have the same problem; Report Snapshot is showing in UI, but we cannot delete it from there because "it does not exist".  Did you find a solution to your issue?
