Why can't I associate my Live account with my organisation's partner network?

    I've been trying for a couple of weeks to associate my Microsoft account to my organisations partner network. When I am sent the invitation I follow the link, sign in with my Live account, select 'associate as an individual'. I have no issues finding my organisation, and when I use my organisational account it tells me I have successfully associate and to wait for an email to complete the process.

    Once I receive the second email I follow the link... which takes me straight back to the 'associate as an individual' page. When I checked with my organisation's primary contact, she found under 'pending profiles' the original invitation she sent me, and a brand new one that had just been created! Resending the invitation starts the process all over again, I seem to be stuck in an infinite loop where I can't associate, even though I'm getting confirmation emails telling me it worked.

    And advice or assistance would be appreciated.
