Spending by Category RRS feed

  • I'm comparing the monthly budget and the spending by category report and I noticed that there are transactions that are not showing on the spending by category report that do show up in the monthly budget.  I have reviewed the transaction(s) in question and they have the correct category assigned to them yet they don't show up on the spending by category report.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • Select Customize for that report, and make sure all of the desired categories are selected, as well as all of the accounts that the expenses are incurred in.

  • And also be sure to check that the less-visited options (Details, Amount, Text) are what you want.

  • And make sure that all payees are selected - sometimes new ones will not be included in the report.  Same as new accounts (credit cards, checking accounts) as mentioned above.
