my sony vaio pcg11211m has suddenly proclaimed my copy of win 7 as non-genuine.

Question
-
hello, i have had this machine from new, purchased around 3 years ago and have had no issues at all until a recent malware infection. i have always had microsoft security essentials running.
yesterday it installed essential updates and now it has thrown up this error. i have no reason to believe the machine has been tampered with, i purchased from my place of work-a large uk retailer- and can vouch for its integrity having personally received it into the building and into the secure store where it stayed until i bought it!
is this a common thing? been using windows on multiple machines since win 98! never had this issue before. here is the log..the headings that say 'tampered file' worry me.
