Not Able to Import data to CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • I just tried to import 5 account and contact records via .CSV files. I got this error message "The requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it." I have every permission for the Dynamicss CRM 2011 it does not make sense that it was not uploaded. This is a On Premise application.

    If I'm not wrong, you have System Administrator privilege in your organization --> the problem might be "the requested record was not found".

    You import account and contact records so I guess they're linked together? Contact's parent customer is an account?

    You should try to import them again in order.

  • I am thinking you can separate to import the the accounts and contacts if the contacts are under these accounts.

    You can first import the accounts, then import the contacts which has lookup field for accounts.

    The lookup field will search the related reference , if it can't find the account with that name, the error will happen and the import will failed.
