  • Hello acscompany,

From your diagnostic results it appears both your Office Suite and Windows are both genuine, please visit this website: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag/ , run the diagnostics and have it repair any issues it may find.  Next please visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ and click on both the Windows and Office validation buttons.  If any of these fail validation please copy/paste the results and reply to this thread.  If both of these steps work without reporting any issues or problems please reply with the error you receive when attempting to use WMP 11.

    Thank you,

  • I did as you instructed, which had already done over and over.

Everything "passed" and I still can't get into any window programs still.

I do not get any error report, It just keeps telling me to validate.

  • I wish I could give you an error message but all I get is the window that says I need to verify that I have genuine windows.

Each time I try to validate and each time windows says "thank you" and "you now can access...." Should I just go ahead and restore Windows?

    Helllllllllllllllpppppppppppppp Me.

  • Hello acscompany,

I'm sorry to hear that did not resolve your issue, at this point it appears to be a Windows Media Player 11 issue and not a WGA issue.  I would suggest uninstalling Windows Media Player 11, and then revalidate windows at http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/ and then reinstall Windows Media Player 11.  If this does not resolve your issue I would suggest posting in the Windows XP General Forum here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&lang=en&cr=US.
