CRM 2013 - prevent top navigation from retracting

Question
-
Hi there,
Feedback from my users is that they want the top navigation to stay permanently visible instead of closing once a selection is made or the mouse moves elsewhere as it gives them visibility of the various sections/pages that are available in each section. Is there any way to achieve this easily?
cheers

Hi,
it is not possible to pin the navigation bar.
There are some alternative solutions to help the navigation, you can find a list here: http://rocktonsoftware.com/inside-rockton/blog/rockton-blog/2014/07/08/the-crm-2013-navigation-design-contest-winner-is-.-.-My blog: www.crmanswers.net - Rockstar 365 Profile

Hi,
Another option is a managed solution from MVP Scott.

I feared that was the case - it makes it very hard to come up with usable and elegant solutions in many cases. Whilst the menu work well enough in straight CRM usage, it becomes difficult when dealing with substantial changes to the base entities (we are using CRM as a base for an XRM implementation)Thursday, August 7, 2014 6:02 PM
