Windows 7 Genuine validation after ssd boot drive swap

Question
-
So a couple months ago my boot ssd drive died, so I got a new ssd and was able to re-enter my cd key for Windows 7 Premium. Everything was working fine up until about a week ago I started getting validation errors that keep popping up. I ran the diagnostic tool and this is what it spat out.

OK - got it... It'll take me a while to digest it, and I have to go for an operation tomorrow, so probably won't be able to get back to you until Sunday/Monday.
See you then!

You have a 'Permission Denied' error in the licensing vbs file - this could be for a number of reasons, the most obvious of which is that you may be using software which blocks vbs programs from running.
What Anti-Virus and orther security software are you running?

I am just using Avast free antivirus and IObit powerful uninstaller, that and the basic windows security stuff that came preinstalled.Tuesday, May 10, 2016 9:04 PM

IOBit software has a bad reputation for breaking things - I would suggest that you uninstall all of their software.
As far as I know, Avast doesn't block VBS from running - but it may be residuals from earlier installed AV's.
What other AV's have ever been installed? We may need to run their uninstall/cleanup programs to get the system operating properly again.

I have uninstalled IOBits software with their uninstalling agents, there remains 3 files from iobit on my C drive but i cant delete them, it says that the window is open or in use and to close it before i can. Other than those two I don't think I've installed any other AV'sWednesday, June 8, 2016 3:24 AM

OK, we can see if we can work out what is blocking the VBS script.
The actual error occurs at the end of a For...Next loop in the script, but unfortunately I don't know enough about the mechanics of it to really know how to attack the problem.
I suspect that the problem lies in the registry somwhere - probably in the HKLM\SYSTEM area - so let's have alook at that...
Please open Regedit (click on the Start orb, and type Regedit in the Search box - hit the Enter key and accept the UAC warning)
Navigate tto teh HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE branch, and expand teh sub-branches
highlight the SYSTEM branch and right-click on it - select Export
Change the Save as type... to Registry Hive Files, and name the file HGSYSTA - click on Save.
Compress the resulting file, and upload the compressed file to a fileshare site - post a link so that I can download it for inspection (Once I have it, I'll let you know so that you can delete it - there may be some data in it that should not be in the publicdomain)

Upload the file to a fileshare site (OneDrive or Dropbox, preferably) and post the link - if the site wont let you post the complete link, replace the http:// at the start with hxxp:// and I'll do the rest.
