CRM 4.0 Audit Plugin RRS feed

  • Question

  • All - there is an open source plugin out there for audting capabilities in CRM (http://crmaudit.codeplex.com/).  It is pretty straight forward to install and configure, however after it is successfully installed and published I am now receiving the following error when creating a new opportunity (I configured auditing for the Opportunity entity only).

“Object reference not set to an instance of an object”.

Has anyone else encontered this or does anyone have an idea how to resolve the issue?

  • Hi Michael,

I'm using it in sevaral environements. Make sure that you have a latest version from here: http://crmaudit.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/changesets

In this version sometimes the same problem is appearing when you want to delete a record (but there is a fix for it).

  • I appreciate the reply - I just uploaded the XML that was located in the zip file folder "configurations"...  You mentioned there is a fix for the deleting a record error... is that separate of the recent audit plugin configuration?
