Microsoft Sync Framework 2.0 & Windows Mobile 6 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've installed the Sync Framework v2.0 SDK.  In VS2008 I've created a SmartDevice Project (WM6).  When I try to add references to the Sync Framework dlls, they are not listed.

Can the 2.0 Framework be used with a WM6 Smart Device project?

If so, is this the location for the dlls I should use?
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Microsoft Sync Framework\2.0\Runtime\ADO.NET\V3.0\x86

    Thanks!

  • I actually tried that already, if you manually add the reference to the .dlls location in \ADO.NET\V3.0\x86 folder, and try to deploy the solution to your mobile device, it will start copy alot of other dll's which are not even part of your application or even referenced in your project which results in device out of memory and you wont be able to run the application.
