CRM with IFD . E-mail router issue

Question
-
Hello,
I've spend a lot of time reading about similar issues but it got me nowhere. My situation is the next one. I'm deploying the ifd mode in one of our customers. the first big change after running the IFDtool was the URL of the crm now is like this http://orgname.crmd.domain.com:8040 (also works with http://orgname.crmd.domain.com:8040/orgname) before ifd it was like this http://crmd.domain.com:8040/orgname. So the error I get setting up the deployment register in the Email Router Manager, and charging data is the next one. "Can not resolve the remote name: 'orgname'". (i got the exact error text in spanish)
Just to mention it, before IFD the orgname was the same as the customer domain, so the customer ask us to change the name of the organitation there for we had to create a new organitation in the development server.
Please Help!! Thanks in avance.

So long as IFD is not enabled for the network upon which the CRM Email router sits, you should not have to include the "orgname" prefix to the FQDN used for the Email Router's configuration. If it is, however, then you'll need to make the appropriate entries in the DNS server for that network to point orgname.crmd.domain.com to the same IP as crmd.domain.com .

Hi David, i did read that guide and it seems that the real problem was the Deployment propeterties Table the columns ADSdkrootDomain an ADWebApplicationRootDomain, (these columns are filled by the IFDTool) but I do change to the correct value of the host header and now the E-mail Router works fine. Thank you David. this is the article that helps me, and i get through it by readind the post you toldme to. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950248
