How many of u are using broadband or dial up for internet?
post your name with your connection status.
I am asking this type of question because I am using dialup at college hostel and it is impossible for me to sign up for the contest.

Plan : Home-500 (2.5GB limit, 0200hrs to 0800hrs night free unlimited)
Speed : 2mbps
Location : @Home
These are the practical speeds that i get :
Download : 234kBps (1.8mbps or 1872kbps )
Upload : 53kBps (0.41mbps or 424kbps)

If u are using Dial-Up connection the u download Accelerator software for 10 times faster access to interner ...

i am usin the bsnl 500 home plan....

, but what about many of my friends who are using dial-up in hostel and not able to take broad-band services, although we pay RS 500 for airtel-dialup...

...the standards say the a connection can be said as broadband only if it has a min. speed of 256kbps...

No one can access student rockstar user-profile page by using dialup connection, I have many dialup connection and also one core 2 Duo PC and one Laptop but I am not able to access it.

my internet plan details as per following:
sify broadband : 64 kbps
Happy hours: 150mb free for everyday n night unlimited.
i also tried it in Airtel dialup connection [Rs.450 p.m.] but sometimes the connection is automatically disconnected. so i switch over to sify n it is fully satisfiable.

i use BSNL dial up connection @ speed of 52kbps.
it works fine if we need to do some small work like opening student rockstar website.
Earlier i was having problem but now it works fine......
if u r downloading then dial up connection is not useful.....!

Hey I use dial-up connestion of airtel @ 155.2Kbps also tata @ 115 Kbps,
But it is not possible to log in to the rockstar site by using dialup.
