Hi,
I get the following error on the deployment log when installing OCS enterprise edition 2007:

The error is on Step 2: Create Enterprise Pool. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

No problem
-Start
-All Programs
-Microsoft SQL Server 2005
-Configurationtools
-SQL Server Configuration Manager
--SQL Server Configuration Manager (Local)
---SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration
----Protocols for MSSQLSERVER
On the right pane choose TCP/IP
Right click "Properties"
Choose TAB "IP Addresses"
Here you can see (and change) the Port per IP address or for all IP addresses (scroll down to the bottom).
To configure a static port (1433 in our case) "TCP Dynamic Ports" has to be blank (not "0" or something like that)
Field for static port number is "TCP Port"
Hope this helps

Hi,
I saw the same error on LCS 2005 before
1) Check if your SQL server runs on standard port (1433)
- Use SQL management tools
2) Check if your Windows Scripting Host's version is 5.6
- Typing "cscript" on the command line shows you the scriptings host's version number
Bye

i saw (and you wrote), that you opend two additional threads with the same issue.
Let's discuss this issue only within this thread (so we do not have to post on three threads).
Thx

Hi,
I am new to OCS and MS SQL. Can you explain how to do 1)? I can only see a Configuration Manager and Management Console after installing SQL 2005.
I am ok on 2).
Thanks for your help.
