How can I recover the files deleted? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Last week, there were some folders in the Live Mesh appeared automatically. They had the same name as the original ones, so the system renamed them like XXXX (2), and then I deleted those folders repeated, XXXX (2). After that, I found there was nothing in my original folders in which my files were supposed to be saved.

How can I recover those files? Because they are so important to me.

  • Please submit a bug report with logs from all machines in your Mesh to help identify what may have happened.
Note that you should always have a backup of your Mesh files ina safe location not in your Mesh as this is a beta and data loss can occur, though rare.

How to Submit Bugs and Live Mesh Logs

Note that you may not receive a response to the bug report, though. It will be transferred to the internal system to be assigned to the appropriate development group.

  • The deleted folders should be in the recycle bin.
