Problems in Installing Windows Media Encoder RRS feed

    Hi All,

         I am unable to install Windows Media Encoder 9 Series on Windows XP Embedded Sysytem (32-bit)

     It is giving the following error "This application requries Directx Media 8.1 or higher. Please install DirectX Media 8.1 or greater run-time from www.microsoft.com/directx before running this setup."

    Can any one please help me. I have already installed DirectX 9.0c but still I am getting the same error. Also I found out that the amx version of DirectX Media is 6.0.

    Please help......

    Hi, try installing directx 8.1 from microsoft downloads and reinstall wmp again.
