Live Mesh using a proxy... RRS feed

    Hi. I'm assuming the Live Mesh client uses the same proxy settings as IE. I have IE running through a HTTP proxy (and it will not connect if I do not have the proxy setting enabled). Mesh seems to be able to connect just fine. However, no files are being transferred to this computer. I have shared a folder on my home computer and the only thing I get on my laptop are .wlx files. Is the proxy causing this problem or is it another problem? Thanks!

    Hi,

    We have been seeing a few reports of this behavior after the latest update to Live Mesh.  If you wouldn't mind, could you please collect the Live Mesh logs from your laptop (where you're only seeing .wlx placeholder files) and send them to lmprev@microsoft.com?  Please reference "bug 24785 (possible)" so that we can connect your report to our existing investigation.
