CRM 2011: Set default view for a Workflow Activity

  I have a Workflow Activity which takes a Lookup input which happens to be a custom entity.

  I would like to set the default view which is used for just this action.  I have seen buts of code floating around which allow this to be done on a Form but will I be able to achieve something similar on the workflow editor form.

  I don't want to bend the rules or use unsupported methods.

  Anyone know if this can be done?
