CRM prompts users for login credentials when opening attachments. RRS feed

  • We have Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 installed in a partner-hosted environment, with ADFS and IFD. When using the Outlook client, users are prompted for their user name and password anytime they attempt to open an attachment. I have verified various Internet Explorer settings suggested in other posts, including adding CRM sites to list of Trusted Sites and also checking "Automatic Logon with current user name and password."

    Is CRM requesting login credentials when opening attachments BY DESIGN? Or, is this a settings issue that I can change?

    Any insight is greatly appreciated.
