Outlook CRM 2013 plugin not working - cannot start Outlook RRS feed

  • With the new changeover the other day Microsoft assigned me a new login ID for CRM. I can login fine online, but now I cannot start Outlook. At all.

    When Outlook is loading, the sign in screen for CRM comes up (because my old credentials are no longer valid) and at that point it freezes. I see the login screen for CRM but cannot do anything in it. Outlook says it encountered and error and stopped working.

    Two reboots and retries confirm I'm not getting out of this loop. Is there any fix other than a clean install of Outlook again?

  • Well, I decided to try something on my own, and it worked, unfortunately I did not do screenshots.

    I went to Control Panel (Windows 7), selected Mail (32 bit), which brought up the following screen.

    I selected E-mail Accounts, then clicked on the Data Files tab and got this.

    I deleted that oberweisfunds.api.crm line hoping it would allow Outlook to load properly and then ask me to login.

    Which it did! Yay! :D

    Problem solved.
