Attempting to unmark an answer just brings an "unexpected error".
The sort of the list is not correct. I update an item and it does not go to the top (or even close to the top) of the list.
It really is time for these forum to be fixed!!!!!!!!!

Just noticed that also this post does not allow for editing!!!
The code colouring is just wrong which makes it somewhat useless, put a comment in the code and all bets are off.
Wouldn't say this is the worst software for a forum but it really could improve.

Hi Lloyd,
Attempting to unmark an answer just brings an "unexpected error".
This has been reported several times and the forums team is aware of this issue. There are several threads in this forum that you can reference.
The sort of the list is not correct. I update an item and it does not go to the top (or even close to the top) of the list.
I'm not sure what you mean by this. If you're talking about threads in the thread list, make sure your Sort options are set to 'Most recent post'.
The problem with the "Edit" is that the first item does not allow for editing but all subsequent ones do!!
You can edit your initial post, the edit link is up at the top of the post, not the bottom like you'd see in responses.
To top today off I get a reply email from Mike Danes:

Sometimes there are strange language issues with email alerts from the forums, see this thread for an example:
Usually these don't last too long.

BTW, I got the same problem with the alert as well today.

Yes, it seems that there are some problems. But it's not exactly the first time something doesn't work properly on these forums.
Anyway, please use the Forum Issues forum for such posts. It's not like this happens only in the WPF forum. I thought that my move of your earlier post would be a hint in the right direction... looks like it wasn't.

This is a duplicate and should be merged with this thread (or just deleted):

Ok so today the forums were screwed up. It lost my email. It did not format correctly. It thought I was chinese.
Now the only way these forums work is if people get notified when someone responds. That no longer works.
Is there anyone at MS that thinks this is a problem?
To get it now I have to look at my threads, check the last updated. Is this really the way MS thinks we should work?

Oh and I just tried Site Feedback. That does not exist!!!
Guess this is another MS boondoggle. I would say I'm sorry for the rant but I'm not.
Lloyd Sheen
The Site Feedback link only appears in TechNet (or Microsoft) branding, not MSDN for some unknown reason. Check at the bottom of this page for the link:
Don't retire TechNet! - (Don't give up yet - 12,830+ strong and growing)
-
-
Dunno what to tell you, the links works just fine for me.
Take your existing URL and replace .msdn. with .technet.
Don't retire TechNet! - (Don't give up yet - 12,830+ strong and growing)
-
Still cannot get to it. On Chrome it goes to a page that say webpage is not available. On IE it says "this page cannot be displayed".
The URL is:
https://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/mailform/contactus.aspx?refurl=http%3a%2f%2fsocial.microsoft.com%2fForums%2fen-US%2f7d6525a7-2f3a-42b5-b534-735a12455998%2ffix-the-forums%3fforum%3dreportabug
replace the msdn with technet and same problem (and why would there be a link where you have to change the URL?)
And the problem with the sorting on threads still exists. Just got a notification of a thread with an update. But if I look at the list of threads it does not appear on the first page where it should.

I checked Site Feedback link in Chrome and it opened the form for me OK.
In any case, you can send direct complaint to fissues at microsoft dot com. They have about 15% rates of answering my emails. If I report a spammer through that email, I get almost 100% guaranteed email back. For all other problems it's about 15% chance of a reply.

Ah, yep, looks like you're right. I'm not able to load the page right now either.
This was reported before and it resolved itself after a while (but it looks like it's broken again):
