Windows Live OneCare User Agent has encountered a problem and needs to close

Question
-
Once or twice a day, I encounter a message box on my Windows XP SP2 computer that says "Windows Live OneCare User Agent has encountered a problem and needs to close." It can appear while the computer is unattended, so I don't think it's a result of a conscious action on my part. I choose ok, and it goes away, but what is the significance of the WLOC User Agent closing?
Thanks.

Steve,
I think this is now resolved - at least it hasn't reoccured in the past 2 days. Support offered 2 suggestions:
1. Run the firewall repair tool, and then reboot.
http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/4/0/1400dde8-8f5a-4046-90a1-f58278f084e6/OneCareFirewallRepair.exe
That didn't solve the problem, so they then suggested:
2. Run the Virus and Spyware Repair tool, and then reboot.
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/e/3/be370640-5cfb-467d-aef0-67ffb820f7cc/AntiMalwareRepair.exe
It took several iterations of running the tool and rebooting, but it did seem to resolve the issue.
Thanks for your support.

Jim,
Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately, it didn't seem to help. I uninstalled WLOC, ran the removal tool, and reinstalled it. The problem persists. I've tried contacting support, and will post a solution when one is found.

Sorry that the problem was not resolved with the reinstall. Please do let us know what transpires with support.
It would seem to me that something may be conflicting with that part of OneCare, causing the crash.
