CRM Email Router stops processing emails at some point of time RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    We have set up an CRM Email Router for processing emails. It is working fine by processing incoming and outgoing emails. However, at sometimes it does not process emails and the email count in the router keeps on increasing. Then, if we restart the Email Router service then it starts processing the emails in a normal way. Later at some point of time it stops processing emails.

    Why does it happens? We have kept the Polling period to 30 sec , Max Messages Per cycle to 1000 for both incoming and Outgoing emails.

    Incoming Port: 80

    Outgoing Port: 25

    We have installed Email Router and Exchange on different machines. Also, installed rollup 5 for email router.

    Do we need to set anything else?

  • I'd install latest update rollup (18) at the very beginning. What's the Exchange version? CRM version and it's UR level?
