  • Question

  • I have had the Windows 7 Professional for a long time ? i'll bet about a year.  Then all of a sudden it was not legal .  I have another Windows Ultimate on another of our computers at home. Probably about 4-6 months ago , i believe it said the same thing Builder 7601.  But i did not think anything about it because i bought an OEM from Fry's , i didn't think anything about it , because my son was going to put it on a particular way.  So, the OEM has been setting there all this time.  When this happened to my computer, i had mine as i said before probably about a year, and i thot it was legitimate. I thot i had caused it ,when i bought a 128 GB flash drive and was checking it out and tried to copy OS C: drive to it , and then that is when i all of a sudden had an illegitimate copy.  Well, i bought an OEM from Fry's , had my son try to put it own , he builds computers, repairs them, and keeps my office computer's functioning.  Now, He needs to be or Join MSDN, but he can not connect to them or. the network is down or not functioning.  How ,can he contact them  to put these OEMs on.  They, are legitimate they came from Fry's the last one cost $189.00. Can MS atleast do something so that i can use them.  Please help?????

  • To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool

     Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
