  • Hi there,

Just for more information, please have a look at: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/certifications.mspx (find in the list SQL 2005 certification)

There are few SQL 2005 certs which differ in exam amount etc.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers,
    Ben

  • You can take exams in any order you want, there is no requirement for it. Just note that you achieve a certificate only if you pass all required exams :)

as for the books (and training materials in general), just find the exam you want to pass, e.g. http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exams/70-445.mspx

and then scroll down to Preparation tools and resources. Here you can see all (well, all MS official) training materials, such as books, e-learning, class led training :)

Unforunately can't tell you which one would be the best for you, as it depends what experience and knowledge you already have :) However most of press books are well prepared to cover most of the exams knowledge :)
