I saw this listed on safety page so I thought I'd do a search on my my PC for.....%windir%\pooldata\:...........which I did and it turned up nothing, however each time I did that search about half way through it, it would shut off completely Windows Live OneCare on my PC(the icon would turn red)...and it still does it even if I change the name of search just to plain 'pooldata' Windows LiveOneCare does eventually come back on( to green) but what does this mean overall?

  • I'm not sure what this means as I can't reproduce this on Windows XP or Vista with One Care. Since you most likely followed the detection and removal information here - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-Us/virusenc/virusencinfo.htm?virusid=8455150 and the worm is not detected by One Care, your computer is clean. I don't know why One Care would shut down during a search. Are you using a third party program to search your computer? Does One Care shut down if you search for other files in your Windows folder?
