Renewal Problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have paid for a one year renewal of Onecare, but when the Rewenal button is clicked in the installed Onecare program, I get a message that the requested action cannot be completed.  Can you please cause the Onecare service to be reactivated?

  • Sign in with your LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com and select the renew link for the OneCare subscription entry there.

  • Steve,

I am having the same problem.  However, when I click on the link I get this error:

    No billing accounts

This Windows Live ID does not currently have a billing relationship with Microsoft. MSN offers a variety of services that you may subscribe to. For more information, go to http://join.msn.com/.

So how do I renew my subscription.

  • If it responds with that error when you log in, make sure you are logging in with the correct LiveID for your subscription. Open OneCare and click Help/About to see your Subscription ID, which is the LiveID to use. If you are using that LiveID and the Billing system is returning that message, please contact support -
