So I have had WHS running for about 2 months and everything has been fine, you could go to my domain and download as fast as my upload would let you. The past few days have been different I tired to download a movie from my server to my friends computer and it started fine about 900 kbs, and then just slowly dropped about 50 kbs every 10 sec. and then drops the download, and I have tried it from 2 other computer not on my network and same thing, starts high then about 2 mins in it drops the download or is going so slow by that point that there is no point in downloading it.
How fast is your upload? Have you checked how your upload rates work with your ISP? Generally they are not as fast as your download and may change based on the size of the file i.e. Comcast changes its rate/speed after the first 10MB. So you get a really fast upload for the first 10MB and then they drop the speed at least in my area.
Also, have you tried installing the
toolkit (this is the x86 link) and changing the Remote Access timeout period?
Thanks
