Resolving Cases in CRM 2013 that have open Activities RRS feed

  • Hello,

    Is there any way to turn off the message 'There are open activities associated with this case. The open activities will be canceled....' and return to the original message which does not allow users to resolve a case if activities are open?  I thought I had read somewhere that this could be done, but after a lot of searching I have been unable to find it.

    Please Note: This is on a CRM 2013 deployment with all the latest updates and service packs.

     a plugin to check if there are open activities and throw an exception would work.

  • What you probably want is a Dialog warning the user that all related activities will be closed. When the user confirms, trigger a plugin that closes all related activities async.
