  • Hi Naveen,

If you are trying to hide unused buttons for your users then all you need to do is modify the security roles for the Entity you do not want them to see. For example open up Salesperson and make sure the Entity has all red circles.

The Ribbon bar works the same way. If you remove the ability to delete then the delete button will not display for the user.

If you need to remove items from the navigation or Ribbon bar all together from all users no matter what security role they have then you can modify the Site.Map. To modify that you will need to export customizations from settings, modify the XML file, and then re-upload the changes.

  • Stevens solution would work for you, it's pretty to control it using security roles. Another way is to just remove the related link via customize form.

    1. Click customize form.
    2. Double click on the related entity area (to the left on the form) that way you will activate that part of the form customization.
    3. Single click on the related entity that you want to remove.
    4. Hit delete and "poff" it's gone.
If you would like to undo it's available to the right among the other related entities that you don't want to show.
