Insert space between field label and field... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to add a lid og padding between the field label and the field value within a form? If I have the Field Label Alignment set to Right, it looks like this:

The field value is almost on top of the field label, looking hideous. I'm talking about the lack of space between "City" and "Oak Grove" to be more specific. Thanks!

  • Hi,

You can try increasing the width of the section where you fields are placed. By default the width is 115, you can try increasing that.

  • I increased it to 150 and it didn't make any change.

  • This is likely to just be because you are using a small screen. I would suggest viewing it on a monitor which is the same size and resolution as the screens your end users will be using. If it displays fine there, then no worries, leave it as is. If however they are also using small monitors it might pay to consider a different style for your forms. For instance, you could change the form to put the hearts above the fields, which would make the form a lot more readable.

  • I'm viewing it on a 22" monitor, so I don't think that's the issue

  • I think you changed the width of field,

try by changing Section width where the field is placed.
