COMPTIA Certification Imports RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just received some COMPTIA certifications that I want to use for future Microsoft requisites.  What's the process to get them uploaded so Microsoft recognizes them?

  • Hi,

There is no process. Be proud of them, store them well and when you do need them as prove, that's the time to wipe of the dust and send a copy (scan) to the designated mail address. Microsoft does recognize them and they only want you to upload/send them when appropriate.

  • Actually, there is a process that I just found out. When you log into COMPTIA, they give you a transcript link now. Clicking on the link allows you to create the transcript e-mail to MCPHelp@Microsoft.Com. In the remarks, place your Microsoft ID number.  That simple.

  • Ok, fair enough. In that case i assume you have a MCP ID which you have obtained by passing a microsoft exam. Fill in the MCP ID and upload your certificate. Otherwise you still save your credentials until you get your MCP ID by passing the first microsoft exam. That's the only way to get an MCPID.
