Crystal Reports On Windows 2012 Server Log4net Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I can run Crystal Reports fine on my local machine. But when I copy the code up to the server and hit the page, I get the following error.

Could not load file or assembly 'log4net, Version=1.2.10.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

I installed the CRforVS_redist_install_64bit_13_0_15 since the server is 64bit. The Dev PC is also 64 bit and running the same library.

I copied the log4net version 1.2.10.0 to the bin folder and still have the error.

I hate Crystal Reports!!!! Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Log4Net has nothing to do with Crystal Reports.

But maybe the easiest thing to do is at the project level in VS is Nuget Log4net.
