HELP FOR INSTALLING A2DP AND AVRCP ONTO WINDOWS MOBILE 5

Question
-
I HAVE O2 XDA NEO. A POCKET PC PHONE WITH WINDOWS MOBILE 5 OPERATING. BUT I CAN NOT LISTEN STEREO MUSIC WITH BLUETOOTH STEREO HEADPHONES OVER THIS DEVICE.
I LEARNED THAT TO BE ABLE TO DO IT, A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Protocol) SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED WITHIN WINDOWS MOBILE 5.
AND FOR THE MUSIC CONTROL BUTTONS ON THE HEADPHONE TO BE FUNCTIONAL, AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Protocol) IS NCESSARY WHICH SHOULD ALSO HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE OPERATING SYSTEM OPTIONS.
WINDOWS MOBILE 5 INCLUDES THESE DRIVERS AS FAR AS I READ THE FORUMS. BUT MY DEVICE HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED ACCORDING TO THIS IN THE SELLER.
SO, WHERE CAN I FIND THESE DRIVERS AND INSTALL THEM ON MY MOBILE POCKET PC PHONE ?
THANKS A LOT....

I learned it myself so I'll pass it on. Make sure you get the right one first of all. I downloaded the Palm version for Windows. Then, having the sync set up, just load the program! Then you have to find the bluetooth device. Go to communications manager and read the directions on the headset but mine required that the blue light was on constant, searching. I found it and it works great in stereo but in the phone mode it only plays the left ear, which I can't hear out of as well, darn.Wednesday, March 12, 2008 8:03 PM

So my guess is that if they are available, you will get them directly from the O2 site (or HTC)
Check out O2 and HTC for you device and look for an upgrade

here is the patch file i used on my WM5 Treo 700wx, this enables A2DP. I beleive its only a bluetooth software modification there for will most likely be universal. If you want to try it out HERE it is. i stress that you back up your device prior to doing this patch, just incase it goes south.Wednesday, March 12, 2008 8:53 PM

I found a link to the A2DP update for the 8125 in the AT&T website. This update will erase everything on your phone. Click here: http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/solutions/email-messaging/email-microsoft.jsp;dSaturday, August 9, 2008 8:09 AM
