Custom field not showing as custom and on certain instances not showing within the interface. RRS feed

  • Hi folks.

    Well I'm working on an undocumented client environment.  There are several instances of CRM at the site version CRM 2011 on premise with RU14.

    So I'm looking at the customizations and in the Account entity he made an Option set called customertypecode and a label of Type.

    Now in a new instance, I can create the option set and it's custom.

    But if the attribute is part of a unmanaged solution, it seems that its not custom.

    Because it's part of an imported solution.  Ok.

    So if say for example, I create a custom view and want to view based on the type of account the in the option set, say it's "partner".

    So it's published and managed on some instances and viewable in the field list selection when creating a personal view but on other instances it's missing.

    I know I have sleep deprivation but I can't see a difference in the instances.
