BONUS PACK Eligibility Failure???

Question
-
I bought VISTA ULTIMATE OEM (66R-00765) and just activated it and went straight to the website to get the Bonus Pack. My computer shows activated and and the above code is the result of the diagnostics.
I bought this system (in pieces) in the states (online) and had it shipped over to me (in Germany because I'm with the Army overseas) at my APO (Army Post Office) mail box (which is the same as a US address). I plan to have the Bonus Pack stuff shipped to my mom (in the States) because APO tends to be a problem for most manufacturers. I hope this is allowed? In the mean time is it possible to find out if there's a problem with the software or my eligibility?
Thanks.
Josh

Dear Josh,
Thank you for your interest in the Buy Local program. From the situation you described you should be eligible for these offers. Unfortunately, since you are out of the country this will take a few extra steps to complete the process.
Please go to https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?c1=509&gprid=9860 and create a Support Incident. Afterward, post the Incident Number here in this thread. We will then contact you directly.
Thank you,
Beth

Hi Beth,

I'm a little upset with Microsoft right now. I just had my XBOX 360 Elite two year warranty extension denied (today) because I'm at an APO box as well. I wait over a year to get one (AAFES), I drop $450 for the Elite, but can't get an extension on the warranty because I have an APO box??? Where is the logic in this? Doesn't Microsoft realize that there are US citizens living over seas (mostly military) - and that our money is as good as it is in the states? I will be using white-out and will be resending the warranty info to be at my mom's house in the states. By the time my time is up here I will be back there anyway. I expect it to be denied becuase it's past the 10 day mark now...go figure! It's no wonder people turn to piracy (or Linux or Sony)! I bet Microsoft wouldn't have a problem with me sending it to them for a repair, at cost, if it breaks! Augh!
Anyway, I do appreciate your response in this Beth, and I look forward to ordering these soon.
Thanks,
Josh
