Downloading problems from internet explorer 6 in XP pro

I can't download anything from the internet without getting the following message:

Internet explorer cannot download setupxv.exe from download.errorsmart.com

Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

Normal video won't play, and I don't have a firewall installed.

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
