  • Hi jabbathehutton,

If you are running Vista, from your Control Panel, you can choose to "Uninstall a program" (under "Programs"), select "Microsoft SharedView (Beta)", and then choose "Uninstall".

If you are running Vista, from your Control Panel with Classic View, you can choose "Programs and Features", select "Microsoft SharedView (Beta)", and then choose "Uninstall".

If you are running XP or Windows 2003, from your Control Panel, you can choose to "Add or Remove Programs", select "Remove a Program", select "Microsoft SharedView (Beta)", and then choose "Remove".

    Thanks,

    Ginger

  • Hallo

    I have WIndows XP + SP2

When I try to de-install the BETA 1 as you describe, the setup is looking for a "sharedview.msi"

Is there a way to manually de-install shared view? Thanks

    Marco

  • Hello Marco,

You may wish to try what Ginger has suggested here http://forums.microsoft.com/sharedviewbeta/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1823669&SiteID=59.  Essentially, you can download SharedView again from http://get.live.com/betas/sharedview_betas, install over your existing install, and then in control panel uninstall.  Please let us know the outcome.  Thanks.

    Hi

I removed manually the previous version of Shared View, working on registry.

After a clean up, the new setup worked well..

    Thanks

    Marco
