Alternative to Microsoft File Transfer Manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • This tool is used for downloads on the Connect web-site. The problem is its poor usability. It doesn't warn the user if connection was lost nor it tries to resume the work if connection restored. I also found that it may have some bugs and security-related issues. Finally, its ui looks somewhat outdated and clumsy.

So why you're still keeping it in use? Moreover, why do you force everyone to use it? There are a lot of freeware download managers and browser add-ons that do all the same things much better.

There are three years old promises on the web-site but nothing was done yet. And that's why I'm posting here. I didn't found a suitable forum for this. So please move this thread or tell me where I can ask my questions. Thanks!
