Changing the "Function keys"

  I'm wondering if I can change one or more of my "F" keys to do simple things like put in my Yahoo mail ID? It seems like F1-F12 all have things to do but can I reprogram one or two of them for me?

  It would be so much simpler! And I'm pretty sure it's possible!

  I have an emachines 3052 w/ Windows XP Home and it is genuine & legal, but that's another story.

  Anybody?
