I just posted a bug into Microsoft Connect but I figured others with camera's might want to test this issue.
I was converting raw camera images into jpeg's using Contenta and placing them on my server. I accessed my server via remote access and the pictures displayed fine until I went into slide show. Then only a white X with a red circle displayed
with no picture. After some experiments, I discovered that pictures converted
WITHOUT the Preserve EXIF/IPTC/XMP metadatas option enabled displayed correctly in slide show. I am not sure if this is a Silverlight issue or a WHS issue but I figured folks with more experience than me might want to test some of
their picture options.
If you want to try this with your own raw images you can download the software for 30 days free and convert some of your raw pictures to test it out.
To see what occurs during slideshow there is a zip you can download from the URL below. the zip contains two images converted from the origional raw image. One jpeg has the metadata preserved and the other does not.
