    I just tried loading Windows Server 2003 onto my laptop.  Its a new to me hard drive which I repartitioned; The CD got to the Installing part of it, to get ready to install Win 2003 Serv and I received the error - Isass.exe An invalid parameter was passed to a service or funtion.  I click ok, and it restarts the computer which restarts the process over again. I have done this 3 times, I have been looking all over the place for an answer and have not found one.  Please help!!!

    Hi, this is Windows HOME Server forums. Please post in your question in a windows server forum

    FWIW, isass.exe is probably malware. Unlikely to find this on W2K3 install media, unless if it's from dubious source. When original media, boot system from diskette, then do full format of the hdd and try again.
