Where do you get the Project Server software? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am in a new position and I need to install Project Manager 2013 on our farm. Where do I get the Project 2013 software? The technet article https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee662109.aspx says "insert the Project Server 2013 DVD" but no one here knows anything about a DVD. The person who installed the farm is gone and supposedly they did everything via download. I checked the Microsoft Download center, no luck. I did find a download for a trial version, but is that the same? Where did everyone get their software from?

  • Hi,

You can download Project Server 2013 on the MS eval center:

  • Thank you very much! I find it very odd and sloppy that the software is provided via the MS Eval center instead of the Download center. At least they could make it clear that the software that is in the Eval center is the official production version and not a reduced functionality version. Also, I am wondering where I would find any CUs or SPs?  Anyway thank you for letting me know where to find it.
