is home server.com still functional? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I ping homeserver.com or 207.46.197.321 all I get are timeouts.  Is it still functional, and if so, any idea why this is happening?  After several years away from WHS 2011 I am trying to at least temporarily use it again.

  • Pings are probably being ignored at homeserver.com for security reasons. My unique address there is working fine.

  • Hi,

Homeserver.com is still available as Microsoft had bought it.

During RWA configuration, the RWA configuration wizard will prompted you to sign in to Windows Live, just enter your credential, if previous registered domain name is available, you can select it via option “Choose a registered name”.

  • Thanks.  I know I have some setup issues to resolve but don't want to waste the time if the site has been scrapped.  I will move ahead.  Thank you.
