Billing Invoice RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I get a copy of the invoice for the e-learning course I just purchased? I received an email that says it describes what I just purchased, but is in fact blank? I checked the online billing pages and there is indeed a confirmation of payment, but this is hardly suitable for my company accounts.

  • You don't actually get an invoice.... Not that i've managed to find anyway. It works the same way as xbox credits, you just get an email saying "thanks for buying stuff" but without any details.

I just printed off a copy of the Account history from the e-learning site https://learning.microsoft.com/Commerce/PurchaseHistory.aspx

    this gives details like this:

4/28/2009 Microsoft Learning Platform (Reference #f500fabf-772b-4bf4-b721-b51673b37a2a)
Collection 5051: Monitoring and Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
    £23.01

      Subtotal
    £23.01

    View License Agreement  Tax
    Included

Paid by VISA ending in ****  Total
    £23.01

My accounts department accepted this as enough information. Check with them whether or not its enough.

  • Thanks Brian, I guess this will have to do? Come on Microsoft, I imagine 99% of training is paid for by companies and therefore a better billing and accounting setup is needed.
