Using UWP DLLs in Unity3D RRS feed

  • I have some game components (ie derived from UnityEngine.dll's MonoBehavior) that I put in a DLL that I dragged and dropped int \Assets\Plugins folder in my Unity3D class.

    Yet I cannot add the components I created to any game objects, because when I go to the menu to add a component, I select New Script, which does not give any of my components in the list of options.

    What should I do?  I tried these already with no success:


    This #if !UNITYEDITOR compiler directive didn't work for me.


    I cannot reference my namespace in the Unity script, even if I put my DLLS into \Assets\Plugins.

    What am I doing wrong?
