i am using sync toy 2.0 for sometime n generally i find it useful n helpful except that, i cant save my created "folder pairs" n in some instance, i had to re-create everything again. also, i was not able to "edit" the created folder pairs 's path after creation. one last one is that , i hope to find a way to delete away the sync file created after each sync. the sync file looks "obtrusive" to my folders as i had my "hidden files" set on and the sync files just keep accumuating after each sync. i had tried deleted these sync files previously n i think it messed up my created "folder pairs" pathsss n i had to redo every "folder pairs " again.
hope these can be addressed in future sync toy .....
other than that, sync toy works perfectly welll n good.
When synchronizing folders, neither the progress window nor the main window are minimizable or usable except for the stop button. I would really like to be able to minimize these windows at the very least, and I would also like to be able to continue to manage [other] folder pairs when running sync.
I would also like some method of saving my folder pairs, whether it be a config document or whatnot.
Also, is there any way we can sync just a single document? For example, a single large database file that is updated daily.
I also have a question:
Does SyncToy have a bandwidth limiter on it? Is there a way for me to change the value in it? I am running it between two computers on a gigabit lan, but I seem to only be able to pull off 10MB/s upload/download speed. If I copy over the file manually, it goes at 50MB/s minimum. (basically, max hard drive write speed)
