Html Image Backgrounds in Email Template RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I'm creating a bulk email template in html.  I've pasted the HTML from a WYSIWYG editor and it showed up perfectly.

    But when I saved, I've lost all my "background" images. ex:

    style ="background:url(https://news.centricholdings.com/DV_heading.jpg)

    Is there any other way to include a background image?

    Regards,

    Anthonie

  • This is why I´m working with clickdimensions or coremotives add-on.

  • Try to create a table using your background image

  • Sorry,  it did not work.

    Once I save in the template window, it discards the background image.

    I'm going to play with absolute positions to replicate the effect, but it is not an optimized way of rendering.

    ** what a pain to get a rich email template **

  • Looks like a excellent tool, but it is way too expensive for the marketing we want to do.  I guess it might be the US Dollar to Rand exchange rate that breaks the deal...
