i have a problem with my msda windows 7 professional copy RRS feed

    i'm a chemical enegeneering in Napoli, Italy. My university is into MSDA program and i often use computer for my study.

    I got 2 pc the first is a workstation and i use it when i'm at home the second is a laptop and i often use it at university

  •  The error I see in the Diagnostic Report is "periodo di tolleranza esaurito" (English translation: "grace period out") which means Windows needs to reactivate.  You are using a Volume MAK product key which is different than a normal product key.  A Volume MAK key has a limited number of allowed Activations. 

    This particular Volume MAK product key has a 5 Activation limit with a 15 Activation Extension limit.

    I have looked up this product key and it is currently at it's 5 activation limit, to use one of the 15 Activation Extensions, I believe you will need to use the Activate by Phone method (see below).

     

    Activate by Phone:

    1) Click the Start Button

    2) Type: slui 4 and hit the Enter key

    3) When the Activate by Phone wizard opens, select your location from the drop down menu and follow the directions.

    NOTE: When you call the Activation Call Center, it will be answered by a automated phone prompt that will attempt to help you activate. If the automated Phone Prompt is unable to complete your activation, hang up and call again. This time, don't say or enter anything into the phone, this will force the Automated Phone Prompt to transfer you to a Live Activation Rep who should be able to complete the activation.

  • You are using a volume license product key issued by your institution.  You need to contact the intitution's IT folks for help.
