Change Microsoft Account Tied To Profile RRS feed

  • Hi, have a MSDN/Technet profile associated with a closed microsoft account: so, can't login.

    Can i move the profile to my actual microsoft acocunt.

  • It isn't possible to move an MSDN / TechNet profile to another microsoft account. If you lost or have forgotten the password for your microsoft account you can get help here or also chat or email support (links at page bottom)

  • Hi, thanks for the help.

    Unfortunately it's not a problem of password since that microsoft account is closed. 
    One way could be delete (if it's possible) that profile and create a new one with the same name. In reality the only thing i care it's the name.

    Is there a way i can use my profile anymore?

  • If the account still exists, perhaps it can be re-activated. I would email fissues [at] microsoft [dot] com with details. Include the account name, and if possible, a link to the profile.

  • You can email as Richard has mentioned but as far as I know they stopped doing this a few years ago.
