Windows 8 blocks registry keys RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello! I have a problem with Windows 8. Something, I don't know what blocks any access to any subkeys of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog . So, any app which writes to that key cannot work. I can see the list of that subkeys, but cannot access them in any way. Even when I just click on subkey, a message apears, which says, that key cannot be opened because of error and description of error is "Access denied". I also cannot edit Security Settings of keys because of that message. I had this problem two days ago, but I had reinstalled my OS. Problem was fixed, buf after a day it occured again. I installed following apps: Office 2010, VS2012, WebMatrix, Avast! Antivirus, Google chrome and Google Picasa. Has anybody faced this problem? What should I do?

I'm sorry for possible mistakes. English's not my native language.
